A bouncy, rustic, and highly resilient yarn celebrating local Canadian craftsmanship. Grown entirely on sheep farms right here in Ontario, this plump wool is full of character and designed for warm, enduring pieces that connect you directly to our regional pastures.

Fibre:
100% Local Ontario Wool
Weight: Worsted or Aran
Meterage: ~200m (218 yds.)
Grams: ~120g
Needles: 4.5-6mm (US 7-10)
Texture:
2 Ply, woollen spun, bouncy
Origin: Grown on Ontario farms, spun in Prince Edward Island, hand-dyed in Burnstown, ON.

Care: Non-superwash. Please hand wash cool and lay flat to dry. Hand-dyed yarns can occasionally experience slight bleeding during their first few washes, so it’s always best to wash your finished piece separately in cool water. If you're combining light and dark shades for colourwork, we always suggest knitting up a quick swatch to test for bleeding, or opting to steam block your final piece.

A Friendly Note:
Due to the artisanal nature of hand-dyed yarn, skeins are unique and will vary. Images on our website are photographed to represent colours as accurately as possible, but screen displays vary. We cannot guarantee that the yarn you receive will perfectly match your screen or be identical to another skein. We highly recommend purchasing enough yarn for your project at one time to ensure matching dye lots. In addition, because each skein is lovingly hand-dyed in small batches, we highly recommend alternating skeins when working on larger projects to ensure a seamless blend.
